Our skilled craftsman grade this flooring based strictly on heart content. Planks are chosen when the heart content of the individual piece exceeds 75 percent. The planks are cut from the center of the tree, or the heart of the tree, creating the deep, rich patina that this flooring is known for. Sound knots are found throughout this grade of flooring. |

Many of the same characteristics found in the Premium Grade of Heart Pine Flooring will be found in the Natural Grade. The heart content is measured at 50 percent or higher, creating larger variations in color throughout the floor. The knot structure tends to be more frequent and the occasional drying checks are allowed. When finished, the look of a natural floor can bring warmth to any room. |
