Antique Red Oak
Found in rural barns and tobacco sheds in Appalacia, Antique Red Oak is harder to come by than Antique White Oak. It’s strength, durability and grain character makes it blend nicely with the Antique White Oak, which it is often done to create a striking floor, wainscot or a timeless piece of furniture.
- Natural Grade
- Premium Grade
- Specifications
This grade enhances the natural beauty of the oaks character, including color variations, tight knot structure, slight checking, varying grain patterns and assorted nail holes. The combination of both red and white oak brings a warm and inviting feel to the room. |
All of the natural beauty of the natural grade, but with hand selection of either red or white oak. The added labor to sort the specie allows for the color variation to be less dramatic enhancing the consistency of the grade. The selection of all white oak compliments some of the historic flooring and period inspired themes of our New England Revival line of wainscot. |
